When you use Shopela, we collect the following via TikTok OAuth:

Your TikTok open_id
Your profile info (avatar, display name)
Metadata from your videos (ID, title, description, thumbnail, embed link)

We do not access your comments, likes, DMs, or private videos.

2. Why We Collect This Data

To authenticate you securely, generate your storefront, and display product info based on your TikTok content.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

Generate and display your Shopela storefront
Let you edit product info linked to your TikToks

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data.

4. Data Storage & Security

- Tokens are encrypted at rest - All data is transferred securely over HTTPS - We don’t store your TikTok password

5. User Control

You can revoke Shopela’s access anytime via TikTok’s app permissions. We will stop pulling your data, and you may request full deletion by contacting us.

6. Third-Party Services

We only use TikTok’s official API. No ads, trackers, or third-party analytics are present.

7. Children’s Privacy

Shopela is not for users under 13. We do not knowingly store data from minors.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as needed. Major changes will be communicated to users.
